This is why I keep telling people it's not overall subs, those are easily inflated by stuff like oilers and subathons, you need to aim for, it's total monthly resubcribers (IE core monthly users). Gotta keep the core happy or else you get the shaft. I totally didn't pause doing the round up to post this

As much as I evangelize hours streamed, I feel like consistent schedule is the most important aspect. Pick days and start time combinations that can be fulfilled frequently so people know when you expect you and plan around them and stick to it as much as possible.

personally, I agree with you. However, the major difference is presence: Vchiban and Astraline are the same thing, hence why the rule addendum was worded the way that it was to cover all three groups. My offer to eventually bake for a /3am/ is more predicated on the basis that I believe they have enough of a fan base on this site that if they had a side thread it would be functional, possibly lively depending on potential addtion of + vtubers. I actually truly believe in those girls a lot and think they'll make it, and seeing the success of generals like /tactical/ made me believe in the idea. I also stick to what I said when this first came up: when that eventually happens, I'll still be here and I'll still be doing the numbers and round ups.

I shitpost on /sp/ during the NFL and NBA seasons. I'll also peek in at /vg/ from time to time to see if I can get info on new game releases when they come out but it's not always helpful. Used to be a main on /a/ as well but stopped going to that board years ago cause it went really down hill. I will never forgive them for banning sakurafish

I know for a fact a couple of /lig/ vtubers know I'm the round up/original numbers anon. They've been very nice about it so far though and never bring it up so it's not as big of a deal as you'd think.

OG Numbers anon here, while Nyan has eaten the hardest drop off of the EN vtuber boom people, most of the ones from that era outside of Vshojo have started eating declines over the last few years. Bao, Juniper Vienna, Snuffy, Saruei are all examples of people from that era that used to pull 3-4k that now pull closer to 2k, and i feel like that's more about how vtubing is currently evolving. The influx of partnered Indie vtubers over the last 2-3 years and just the sheer volume of options in the vtuber space in general has now created an ecosystem where you don't have to 'settle' for a larger name when you can do a little hunting and find a vtuber who is right for you. I've been saying this in my round ups for a while but I see the future of vtubing on twitch as a large group of 700 ccv-2k ccv streamers who all have their own established brands and communities.

OG Numbers anon here, this is your breakdown: Coqui's gotten a lot of big raids this month from people like Aethel, Nyanners, and FalseEyeD after False covered Nijisanji drama, so she has a few extra eyes on her this month due to that. All that said, according to twitch tracker their monthly averages are only about 100 CCV off from each other, so they are about the same ballpark as usual and they tend to trade position between the two of them and both of them are on 3 month inclines (coqui is 849 CCV for the last 3 months, Meat is 780 CCV for the last 3 months, both are up about 10%). Basically, they are both doing well and it's nothing to sweat.

I was going to do my tri-monthly 3 month hours streamed post soon, I could take their hours watched and take the hours watched of the monthly top 20 and average them out to get a rough estimate, but beyond that I would have to set up a script to scrape info like the nightly numbers anon does

this
the /jp/ purist definition of gachikoi was always to cheer on and accompany someone along the road to success, be proud of their achievements, support and celebrate together. Not this /r9k/ with anime girl LARP unicorn shit.

I only watch funny vtubers or talented ones. I care about them and I'm happy when they read my chats but I don't hold unrealistic expectations.

Eh I admit i'm a bit overweight (230 pounds at 6 foot) but I was actually worse before I started watching my Oshi (265, pushing 270). Started cutting out soda, eating less sugar and doing exercises during streams. It worked and dropped nearly 40 pounds in a year so I figured I'm on the right track at least

not really, monthly averages for Meat and Coqui are still about 750 CCV each, Olivia is at 1,222 CCV for the month so far, and Callie is at 256 ccv for the month, which is about what most of them are averaging since 3am debuted. We might see some dippage coming in late January/Early February because those are terrible viewership months, but it's safe to assume going forward Meat/Coqui are 700-800 CCV streamers and Oli is a 1k+ firm. Oli might get big enough to make the numbers consistently by mid next year

the problem is she's looking at it purely as a creator's pov and not a viewers. In her POV she is doing a lot when you include the DND but she's unable to look objectively and realize a bunch of her fanbase/viewerbase might not watch those so in their eyes they get limited amounts of her. Even the clippable moments comments shows she's looking purely from a content creator's POV since fans that watch streams and fans that watch clips are not usually the same and if you are making good content people will clip regardless.

She needs to take a bit, look back from the viewer's POV and look through that lens to see what she needs to improve.
