In case anyone wondering, yes Ame's contraption is a feeder trap. But if you feed it properly while standing on the pressure plate, it won't explode, but if you say, overly cautious, & feed it while not standing on the pressure plate, it will explode. Kinda like a reverse psychologist trap.
She rigged it so it won't kill you if you have decent health though.
