This is female otaku behavior since the dawn of ordering merch. Pic related is a birthday shrine for a 2D idol. As in, not even a streamer but a fictional character.
In the happy birthday tag for literally any slightly popular anime boy you can find this shit. Naraka of Nijisanji personally spends money on this sort of thing for her Enstars oshi. You may wonder, why is such cheap, bullshit merch mass produced for Nijisanji? This behavior is the reason why. Women will drop millions just to own 50 badges.

Fujo doesn't mean poor and unorganized girl. And girls who do those kinds of merch hauls aren't all fujos. I wish I had example pics on me but for stuff like idol raising games, otome/bl, seiyuu, etc. you'll see yumejos dedicating rooms to their oshis and fujos dedicating their rooms to their ship. Here's a girl who's oshi is Gaku from Idolish7.
You'll find fans who buy a badge and put it on their purse, fans who make itabags, and fans who do these displays for birthdays. It varies.
