For /meat/, it's the skeggøx, or bearded axe. It's a tool and weapon that most probably predated the arrival of the cultists. The long, cleaver-like cutting edge makes it a fairly effective cutting weapon against flesh and bones, while still light enough to allow for some degree of control. The natural grip behind the axe allows for the user to have finer control of the blade if needed, and the hook is sometimes used to disarm enemies or bypass their defence.
The cultists still prefer obsidian blades in rituals for their precision, but the skeggøx's versatility and simple (yet elegant, as some might say) design still make them a symbol of /meat/ adaptability and gumption.
Nowadays, most /meat/ warriors and soldiers have adopted more sophisticated weapons like poleaxe and halberd, but axes of similar design are still commonly used by lumberjacks and woodworkers, and some /meat/heads still carry them for utility and symbolic reasons. Due to their ubiquity, some local levies might also be spotted using them as their main melee weapon.
