It's alright bro. The power to recognize that and do what is needed is to be respected. You can always do what I do and set the bit you erased for later, you can likely find some bits that can be repurposed into a different scene, or just some of the dialogue that you liked. Keep going dude.

I have no idea how I would explain this, your best bet is like with smut/fluff; read works with action scenes in it. Perspective is really important for those though, so keep that in mind.
