I'm not one of the model owners but was involved pretty heavily in the situation, and have also been helping look for candidates
I can confirm to you it's not schizo or anything bad, just a block of text
There have been multiple cases in /wvt/ that we've had community members buy models from people they liked and try to find candidates for
if you want to know the catch, the catch is that this one was an especially expensive full body and nobody involved wants it going to someone who is becoming a vtuber 'because it's so hot right now' or anything stupid where they'll quit in a month and a half, or someone who really does not fit it well enough to be successful with it.
they've invested a good chunk of money to both help out the previous owner (very nice girl, had personal reasons for rebranding) and preserve a fairly well-known model/character that was well liked by a lot of people in the /wvt/ community
