If one of the Armis boys are /here/ and actually made this thread, I'm going to give you some real advice from someone who actually supports male vtubers. You notice how most of the people saying they watch males just watch flesh streamers? Notice how they're also CGDCTfags or unicorns that mainly watch females? Those are "brotuber beggars" as we call them. Men that are always nitpicking everything about a male vtuber such as spamming AYO every time he says something remotely sexual that isn't even a lewd joke (Flayon makes fun of those types rightfully so), forcing ships with a girl so they can use you as a self-insert to imagine themselves fucking their oshi (perfect example being Vesper, look how many men call him "based" for his behavior and collabs with women. Axel too), and thinking every little thing you do is faggy (like Magni being called a "fujobaiter" on debut for his love potion bit even though it has fuck all to do with anything fujo related). You can see it in this very thread that most men will not watch a male vtuber or if they do, they have a ton of rules about it. You can try to pander to them but in the end you will just be used as a waiting room until their female oshi streams as seen by the early HQ days when the boys' views plummeted when a girl started streaming. If you decide to pander to these types sure go ahead, but this is the type of insecure fragility you'll be dealing with. They'll never support you because they want to but instead out of obligation:

This is what they're ACTUALLY like and you can visit that thread at any time to see that brotuber fags are overly picky and indecisive. If you call them out for it they get defensive. Keep this in mind: Vtubers get a lot of money from voice packs. Do you think straight men would listen to even a second of it despite all that hard work you put into it? Let alone more than once?

Now if you decide to cater to women i.e. the audience who will actually show up to your streams because they love you, buy your merch, buy your voice packs and actually listen to them, draw you fan art solo or with the bros instead of some shipping accessory or r63 fap material because you used a high pitch voice once, it would be a bigger benefit to you. And no despite what these crazy catalog monkeys think, you do not have to do BFE or force a ship with your male coworkers to get support. Do not listen to men speaking for women. A little fanservice is okay if you want, you've gotta make money after all, but you don't have to dial it up to 100. Just avoid females because they cause trouble, don't overtly pander to brotuberfags unless you like walking on eggshells and having your chat derailed, and play and talk about whatever the fuck you want. Don't bring up politics, we don't need any more "for the cause" shit, and you'll be fine. Personally I'd like if someone did more BFE but if it ain't your thing dw about it.
