It blows my mind how there's a clear lineage of people who desperately need to be axed, Enna/Luca/Millie/Elira, and yet NijiEN goes out of their way to avoid punishing them, even though it destroys the entire branch in the process.

It's unironically a clique. Those people are "their friends" and they will always avoid punishing them or firing them. While people who aren't friends with the management get the shit end of the stick.
I mean how can management possibly fire wuca wuca? It's not like he ever leaked anything right?

The key to this whole thing is Elira's fake-crying in the video.
The fact that she had this demeanor means that she was putting on a shoe i.e. wasn't being coerced into doing this. It was her idea, she lead the charge. The fact that she got management's approval only further solidifies the clique narrative. Management does what she wants, she might even BE management as some people are speculating.

The clique is real, Elira is at the root of it all.

It seems like Nijisanji prefers hiring people who fulfill some particular category "being gay", or "being disabled", or "being black", rather than hiring people who actually have talent. It's even worse when these mishmashed hires interact together and form a giant pile of sludge.
They keep hiring an absurd number of chinese people too, I can't help but think that nepotism is playing a big role in all these decisions. Once these people are hired, they're there forever, there's no convenient way to get rid of them. They clog up the works for 3D and collabs, even though nobody is interested in watching them.

The worst thing is how the social environment of the branch has declined. This used to be the strongest selling point of NijiEN back in 2021. But today things are so dysfunctional that people can barely communicate through the ESL barrier, much less understand references and in-jokes in their proper cultural context. Bad actors continue to create drama to get attention and stand out from the herd, nobody cares about anyone except themselves.
