BA has the issue of heavily favoring sparking a banner. Pity doesn’t carry over so the non-retarded play is to save until you guarantee who you want, but obviously that can come at the expense of enjoyment since you might like someone but don’t have enough rolls to hit.
This is kinda why I like HSR in particular. It uses the Genshin pity system but there’s always peak characters coming out every patch and there’s enough rolls to always hit someone you have in mind. Even if it’s not the one you aimed for, you’re getting someone eventually who you want and can still roll to collect resources and characters
