>you're going out with your good friend Amelia for her birthday, it's a really fun evening and both of you have been laughing a lot - you take her ice skating in the park, to a cozy little pizzeria and to a karaoke afterwards

>halfway through, as you look at her performing for you, something changes inside of you
>this isn't someone you only view as a friend

>your cheeks flush, there's an odd feeling in your stomach and your eyes hold contact with hers in an unusual way so that even Amelia notices something isn't quite right
