For me, Idolmaster Starlight Stage was the best model to go when it comes to the balance between whales and F2P players... until they went full retard by releasing overpowered limited card banners twice per month. but for me, the worst "full retard" i've ever seen on a gacha game was Love Live All Stars. it was the only game that actually lowered the pull rates of good cards that becomes obsolete anyway 15 days later after releasing a more broken card, then makes farming harder for F2P's by nerfing the gem rewards on events.

I think a good example of overdesign done right would be Idolmaster mobages.others are just really overdoing it. chink gachas like Azur Lane is a bad offender of this.

It might be a crazy idea, but Haachama's content would become fresh if she just tries to stream other games like the other chuubas do. Ironically, trying hard to be different from others is what making her content kinda stale because she's stuck on only doing Minecraft/Lore/Singchama/Tetris/Sunday contests every week.
