Laterite has been used extensively for making bricks. There is a lot of uses for it and seeing that is apparently abundant in /risu/ is nice I suppose. Aluminum and iron for us and using it for bricks has been a thing since literally 1000 years ago IRL. Although risuners would just use wood from trees I could see possibly a decent amount of red brick laterite buildings in a few areas.
