This didn't come without a cost though. As they got more focused on their interests, they started to disconnect with the other demon puppies at daycare in The Northwest Passage. They realized that their barkers barked just a little different than everyone else around them. The more they tried to reach out, the more it seemed like they couldn't make friends. Fluffy would try her best, even in spite of others barking weirdly at her, or some making fun of the way she'd bark, or trotted, or what she'd talk about. Fuzzy on the other hand, slowly receded into her interests in demon guard dog training more and more. She all but stopped bau bauing to others her age, and got completely absorbed into her passion. Fluffy would try to include her at times, but she usually just chose to stay home and watch videos on demon guard dog training or consume other sorts of media from the territory where demon guard dogs were a lot more common.

Towards their end years at the daycare, someone took notice of them and their passion for demon guard dog training. A certain friend of papa puppy, a strang man named 'Pero' finally approched them one afternoon.

"Hey girlios!" he said. I've been watching ya and I've seen what your trying to do! You know, I studdied LOTS about demon guard dogs too in my hayday. I might be able to give you two a few tips!" the words came out with a small, mischivious smill curling onto his face.

The two jumped at the oppertunity, trusting Pero because of his connection with their father. With Pero's help, they worked hard to start learning all the ins and outs of demon guard dog training. They learned how to use their Bau Bau to intimidate, they learned how to walk with purpose and command respect, they learned how to scare people away, they learned how to run properly. They spent many, many hours trying to perfect their demon guard dog techniques. While doing that, they tried their best to seek out ways to put those skills they were training to the test the best they could in the Northwest Passage. Any small guard job they could find, they would take with no questions asked. All the while, Pero was there with them helping and guiding them.
