there's a big reason why almost every vtuber out there has a humanoid appearance is because at the end of the day, you're literally just a streamer. you are there to provide entertainment.

with face cam streaming you can be there to create a collective sense of emotion and reaction with the content you're watching (playing a game, watching funny videos, doing a zatsudan,etc.) but the core part is that you're still sharing a relatable experience with the viewers.

if your eyes are hidden, then you've only got your mouth shapes and your voice, nothing else the viewer sees can convey expressions. if you've got peak comedian skills (voice, inflections, timing, wit) you can pull off something like pic related, even if it's just a simple puppet. but that's near professional levels of talent.

don't debuff yourself anymore than you need to, it's already hard enough to be vtuber.
