2) It's a scene with literally no barrier of entry. In fact I'd argue the barrier of entry is even lower than TV because you don't need to pirate/pay and every stream is more or less self-contained.
As long as you can understand the language the streamer uses you can immediately hop in and have an opinion.

You know I always thought /vt/ as whole was just a place that to share common interest for a "fandom" and that it just happens to unfortunately been infested with a bunch of schizo shit fling drama queen. Read pic related recently and made me realized nothing is new under the sun and schizo drama queen seems to be a feature of any big online fandom at its core for at least as long the tumblr Glee days.

It seems no amount meds will ever resolve this fundamental aspect of any online communities as large as this. What unfortunate reality.
