She was basically cast into a "bully" role that she really wasn't made for, her real personality from what tidbits she gave out about her life made her seem more like a clumsy, socially awkward girlfailure (affectionate). It seemed like whoever was managing her trainer her ONLY for her original role in mind and nothing else, while seemingly pushing her to play only the latest FOTM slop like Getting Over It and Chilla's Shart stuff IIRC. But that wasn't working out, so when came to doing other things she just seemed lost, and that led to her breaking down early near debut where she wanted to prove herself while playing Getting Over It.
I guess the best way to describe it was that it was like Rosemi having to try (and fail) to convey a dominatrix personality on debut and then coming into her own personality later on. Or like Maria having the chuunibyou trait dumped on her even though she really isn't anything like that at all from what I've seen. But when Aia tried to find things she liked and finally managed to get a new PC, it unfortunately came at a point where NijiEN burst into flames with Selen's termination.

It's so weird to watch Aia in more than 5 frames per second

You know, now I understand why Sony put out that remaster of the remaster of part one. For the average normal person that isnt too knowledgable about vidya, they'll probably just see it in the store and pick it up.

Don't get me wrong, I don't care much about the game either and it's not a great idea to buy an average looking AAA fantasy game at full price just to spite people on the internet either.
But there's ways to circumvent it at least, like making the chat membership onry for the streams, or setting a hard sub cap, like being subbed at least 6 months or for Moona more than a year to get a less cancerous chat.
