That's not even her thing. She's the FIRST vtuber, the oyabun, the one who set it all in motion. It's the same as Sora's daisenpai status. Numbers don't play into it. Not after all the stuff she's already done.
Hell, wolfychu has 3.2 million subs right now, but no one in the vtuber scene actually cares about her. If you want to talk about most popular, you're better off backing Pekora or Fubuki, or even some of the Nijisanjis if viewer numbers are anything to go by.
Gura could be surpassed in sub counts by anyone in EN2 and nothing would change for anyone involved.
