>few minutes pass of me strolling around
>its hot as shit
>get thirsty
>go get drink from foodtruck outside
>check discord while drinking
>buffpup says she'll be at vchiban booth in person
>dont watch her much but go anyway bc why not
>get there
>quite a few people
>hear buff's voice
>there is a huge brown dog behind the booth table
>it's her
>she is an actual big talking brown dog
>everybody there is just acting normal
>get freaked out and walk away
>walk around the con some more
>no one is bringing it up
>go back to hotel
>lay in bed trying to calm down
>hear her and shia's voices passing by in the hall
>start panicking
>hear a door close
>realize she's staying in this hotel as well
>scared and tired
>put ear buds on and try watching some tiktoks to calm myself down
>fall asleep until night
>wash face and then put ear to the door
>no sounds
>decide to go back to con
>missed a buncha meetups but still go to the remaining ones
>pass by vchiban booth again but it's closed for the day
>still, see some people hanging about
>one guy leaning on the booth on his phone seems to be waiting for someone
>hear someone behind me shout "YO SHIA"
>i get startled
>turn around
>it's buff
>but now shes human
>looks exactly like the twitter pics
>at the exact moment she passes me by she side-eyes me
>almost shit my pants
>she just goes to shia and they start talking
>i once again dip back out to hotel
>sit in bed on my phone scared for hours
>almost drifting to sleep again
>get jolted awake by sound of door handle
>someone is trying to come in to my room
>they stop
>hear a muffled "ruff" as if they have their face propped against the door
>its her
>hear footsteps walking away and then a door closing
>at this point im almost crying
>after a few minutes of calming myself down i try to listen for any signs of life out in the hallway
>hear nothing
>pack everything up as quickly as possible
>quietly open door and leave
>go to bus terminal
>get on first bus back home
>sleep through most of it
been paranoid since then and I stopped going outside as much as possible. every time I see her online I feel sick, sometimes I even cry. never going to a con ever again.
