I think there might be some Nijis who have incorporated some genuine horror into their streams, but afaik creating a series of pseudo-ARG horror story-oriented streams, messing with the viewers' psyche by bringing in another person that cannot be seen or heard without explaining anything, or streaming a philosophical art performance is pretty never seen before in vtubers.

If anything, experimenting with the vtubering platform to see what's possible and pushing the boundary should be celebrated, as it brings/encourages innovation, which is something that the vtuber industry badly needs.
