I believe holos have a moral obligation to pander to the ideals of unicorns and gachis, instead of listening to the larger population of normie fans who will accept any kind of behavior and content. Normie fans are irrelevant, they will eat anything put on their plate and they will come and go with the tides of popular trends.

There are all sorts of disparaging things people say about unicorns, and while these might be true, hololive would not be where it is if it wernt for weird creepy people like that. Weird creepy poorly socially adjusted people CARE deeply about their passion in a way normies never will because it is not socially acceptable to care too deeply about a hobby.
It is this obsession that built hololive from the ground up.
These are the people who showed up to every Sora stream encouraging her when she wanted to quit. These are the people who gave Subaru a new lease on life.
These people fucking built hololive, they matter. The modern fans would not have stood by the early holos during hardship. These people are more socially well adjusted sure, but socially well adjusted people DON'T CARE. They just consume. That's the problem, they'll just move on to the next thing once hololive is ruined.

I think the girls have a responsibility to pander to the ideals of unicorns since they owe their success to these kinds of people.
This is why I hate people like Ollie and Mori who will take any opportunity to shit on dedicated fans with expectations. They got RICH off this shit and can't even bother to do the bare minimum of behaving in a way that conforms to their ideals on stream? The fucking disrespect.
