Even in real life, fungi can quickly become resistant to anti-fungal treatments when exposed to them constantly. So long as the mushrooms are native to /meat/, I don't think you really need some complicated explanation for why /meat/ chuubanite doesn't do anything to them. Having evolved in an environment abundant with it, they will have naturally gained immunity to that specific type of "antibiotic."

Feel free to include him in your stories if you'd like! It'd be fun to read. In general, I think it should be fine for any niji anon writing about the Empire to include any of the Empire's gods in their stories. Due to the nature of gods in Vitubia, mentions of them in "real" stories wouldn't be more than as mentions of worship and such anyways, which would be a silly thing to restrict. Myths where the gods would have actual presence, on the other hand, are essentially just in-universe fanfiction (fanfics of our fanfics...). Any mischaracterization can ultimately be put down to different cultures' interpretations of the gods alongside the writer's own biases, which is a thing that tended to happen in real myths for widespread pantheons anyway.

Some Lucubs would likely join up, if you want them. Even though they split from Pomerania long ago, I imagine there would still be some loyalists who consider themselves Pomeranians first. Comfydants would also absolutely be chomping at the bit to join what's essentially a revolutionary army, but I doubt you want the hassle of dealing with cyborgs in what's largely being written like a historical text. Their lack of presence can be excused easily enough with the claim they were still trying to get themselves settled and couldn't be bothered with affairs outside of Noctyx's at the time.
