I think it can easily help your character's journeys if you go a little easier on them. I think it might be a product of your writing style, but you are quick on the trigger finger to give one of your characters either a painful death, or just nonstop misfortune. Abuse is kinda your bag from a majority of your works, so it makes sense that you gravitate towards it. When you balance the good with the bad though, it'll make the eventual harsher events more digestible not only by your characters, but the readers as well.
Watame is my number 1 sheep, of course I'm interested in what she's gonna do, and while I haven't gotten to write Mio yet and she's pretty far off, I always have a mighty need for my wolf.

I can only imagine how intense the translation work is, you're amazing for getting that much done. I have likely broken way past the scale then with my current word count that just keeps going up. Keep doing the stories that are reasonable and keep on helping your own community find new stories and joy in them.

When I've been stuck on a scene I was trying really hard to make work, more than a few times the answer was to NOT make it work. That was kinda my inner brain telling me that this wasn't the scene meant for this piece, so I found a new scene. The relief you get when you do that is like no other when you find the scene that was truly meant for your installation instead of what you were originally bent on. The right scene is out there somewhere anon, keep doing your best!
