So recently I've been told to try my hand at auditioning for one of the Japanese talent agencies by a decent amount of friends/audience. I'm a guy. It probably wouldn't hurt to try, but I'm feeling like it's best to go in prepared since to be honest, I never really thought about being a Vtuber before. But I also don't want to take it lightly because I know it ain't. I've been following the technology aspect since Kizuna Ai's debut (and arguably Hatsune Miku's first holo concert). I like streaming the vidya and know streamer culture, but when I stream I mostly like just telling people stories about my odd circumstances due to my country of origin and life events. My twitch account's got uploads from more than 6 years ago, but I've never followed a schedule or done streaming outside of the relatively small game community I already administer.
I'm fluent in English and Spanish, but I moved to Tokyo from abroad a few months ago (Yes, in the middle of the pandemic) to finish polishing my conversational Japanese to get it to par for other reasons not related to Vtubing.

tl;dr - I guess what I'm curious about is if there demand for a Tokyo-based male gaijin in talent agencies, who doesn't have a tight streamer history? I've been told to try for a spot in Holostars and such but I'm having imposter syndrome.
