I'm not a psychiatrist (despite the fucking thesis I've been posting here), but knowing what I know from watching Kiara for nearly 2 years now, I think her attachment stems from a mixture of her experience in performance/idol culture, and general abandonment issues.
I don't mean to disparage her, or frankly any ship in EN, but I frankly feel like her attachment to Ame stems from an unhealthy mindset and will be doomed for 'failure' in a similar situation that Takamori is in now due to a feeling of unrequited affection, something she explicitly mentioned in her debut as something she cannot stand.
I don't see Ame reciprocating most of Kiara's affections in tangible ways on stream, but we all know for a fact how much Ame does for all of the girls behind the scenes, earning her the adoration of nearly every EN girl, and extending into JP as well. In this sense there is little doubt that she cares for the rest of the EN girls, especially Myth, but she's also lived a life where she's had to put up emotional walls, and doesn't display affection in ways that Kiara may deem sufficient.
I'm not these women, and will never truly get into their mindset being so far disconnected from their actual lives, but I don't think this shift of affection is meant to make anyone jealous, but more to show that person how much they care, though time will tell if this dynamic will persevere through turbulent times (which I hope there are none, btw).
