This game may have done a lot of things wrong, but I'll always consider it the only game that TRIED to fill pokemon's massive plotholes and make it interesting

>tried to explain why underage kids were the ones sent on pokemon journeys
>tried to explain what happens when trainers get older and they're NOT that champion and whatnot
>tried to explain what happens to countries that don't have a pokemon league/undiscovered shit
