It's definitely a culture thing since I'm American and if you're a public figure here, you're free game and just have to deal with it. That's why I'm surprised Coco, being in America, never just said 'okay whatever' to it all.
Like if one of the Hololive girls are legitimately in danger, you don't sue, you arrest the bastard. If someone's typing mean words online, and you're trying to appeal to American audiences your best bet is take an American approach. Just shrug it off.
It's definitely culture shock on my end. I still get uncomfortable with how bad the rest of the world malds over banter.
