If you meant in counterside, the chicken is supposed to replace yuna phoenix, Rayleigh, and it helps A LOT as an air unit it tend to survive after Yuna get killed, and Yuna (who's an unit with a lot of self-healing) only self-heal if the phoenix is alive. AND it also debuff the enemies.
