They probably represent vastly different things so it’s fine!
I borrow quite a bit from the Kalevala and Finnish mythology (in particular the role of music and songs in magic) for /vnug/ so I think I should include more references to it! It’s implied that knowing and singing about the origin of something (iron in this case) gives one control over it (the flintlock mechanism in this case) but I don’t know if that would actually work so I made it ambiguous enough to justify it in other ways. It’s funny that you mentioned lyrics since my music of choice when writing that part actually doesn’t have lyrics

Which is why a bunch of my “organic-chuubanite complex” references probably should be “organic-vitubium complex” or “organic chuubanite complex” instead. Not all though since in some cases the organic molecules actually bind with chuubanite instead of vitubium like when they’re picked up from the subsoil
Do you think it would make sense for the emission to change based on residues from different magic being used around?
