I like to think we all play characters depending on the social situation. I find it tiresome, but I do it selfishly; I want others to think highly of me, so I behave kindly and respectfully. I feel it's the same with using social media, and likely the same for streamers and chuubas. This is why I praise the character, Lumi and Chip have been pretty open with who they are, but it's not the same as knowing someone for real. This is all a cover to say that I love Chip, and I love Lumi; at least I love the characters I idealise them to be. I hope they both recover well

I love Lumi like you wouldn't believe but I haven't clarified before now and I think my message is starting to get confused with others. She has a big place in my heart but I don't have any delusions of romance and I don't tout myself as a savior to her to feed my own ego. She's a very likeable person that inspires me to try to be someone that matches her caliber and I think those kinds of people should be celebrated and supported. These sentiments are bothersome to explain every time and typically end up twisted around by other shitposters, but without qualifying it comes across as thoughtless simping or even worse insincere, which would defeat the entire point of the message in the first place.
