Memberships are cheap and you actually get something out of it so it's definitely the best way to support yoir oshi.
The only instances where superchatting just feels right to me is during 3D streams that I considered to be too good to be free like Korone's recent birthday live and Suisei's lives in general. I only send red supas too. Other than that, hell nah.

Here's a thought. There's a high possibility that the people that regularly post here - a board specifically for virtual youtubers - have never even heard of Lulu's wacky le eldritch student meme or Gibara monke/Era seiso duality. There're also people claiming that hololive blew up overseas specifically because of HoloEN. That's the state of the board you're posting in.
