Hello, yes. Part of Lia’s charm is her unorthodox worth/fan acquisition. More than any Phase member during her initial ascent she laid out all of her shortcomings. In this way Lia really forged a strong core audience understanding that having an initial audience of core fans that will reliably turn out for her content trumps big number/low interaction performances. I think even more importantly for Lia’s style of performance depending so heavily on crowd interaction having an influx of “nonsense” content competing with tried and true contributors massively dilutes her act. A lot of streamers focus largely on producing their own “exploitable moments” usually through manufactured gameplay moments or other premeditated stream gimmicks that keep the audience in a purely passive frame. Considering Lia’s lack of long term chuuba experience and general character her reliance on “help” from the chat to generate the stream not only lends to the explosive frenetic energy that suits her but also provides a sense of “intimacy” that is lacking in other productions. Her ability to maintain that 2view vitality of back and forth with chat creates the living essence of her zatsu. Additionally in Lia’s case there is a particular element that differentiates her interactions from traditional “banter” or rote chat engagement that really draws the viewer in. Something about Lia’s process lends an almost “mutual exploratory” aspect to the evolution of exchange that absolutely highlights her youthful character. This vital sense of novelty to her navigation of topics is what really sets her apart and creates that sensation of “bonding” versus the more widely available pandering that many vtuber are forced into with their chat interaction. Lia is practically fighting against the tide of new seekers that might not “properly” engage with this aspect of her performance and shift the expectation from the “mutual” generation of her stream to a more Lumi/Shiina like “clown” show.
