You are jumping to some conclusions here pal. The freespace series has in a lot of ways been forgotten. I doubt it will bring in a huge crowd. The C&C games have memes and an insane fanbase. The Freespace games really don't have any memes that go with them due to how serious the game stories are. The story and gameplay are the best things about this series. Lumi already played a modded game before as mentioned in this thread. So again, what are you trying to even say? Calm down my man, if she wants to try out the open-source project she will, if she doesn't she doesn't. Not like its hard to find it.

There are a lot of buttons but many of them are kind of redundant. Plus she can rebind them any way she chooses. Not to mention there are in-game training missions that go over the most important and most used controls. You can't really skip them either.
