naruhodo ne, this makes more sense
her recent recline may have been a reaction to a shift in a her content and her overall exposure

In short, after the break many here said she's been going hard on the EOP audience.
But it turns out she's actually pandering towards third-world ESLs all along, who lack both creative output and paypig potential unlike deadbeats and kfp.

Look at Bao, who has less than 10% of Uto's pre-recline viewership.
Despite this, she gets comparatively good fanart to use for her streams at a regular rate, and even dedicated good artists drawing and simping for her like in HoloEN.
All she had was simply an audience not consisting of SEAmonkeys and such.
Make no mistake as #utoart is at a worse state than holoID's fanart

One of Uto's greatest strengths has been her level of kayfabe. She is truly devoted to playing her character, to the point of behaving less like a 3d person. Her earlier streams show this the best, especially Papers Please.
Therein lies the problem. It seems she feels pressured to make herself "clippable", especially by throwing out meme phrases here and there. The fake "kyaaas" she's been spamming more recently come to mind.
She's still completely playing a character, but it's becoming more and more flanderized as she caters directly to her clipwatcher audience's wishes.

She really needs to take a step back to see what she's actually doing lately.
She wants the goodwill of an actual EOP audience, but is instead fellating the desires of ESL nitwits,
who are easily wooed away by same kind of clips that brought her fame to start.

>They are just hololive fans
SEA make up a huge proportion of overseas hololive fans and an even bigger proportion of clip watchers.
The clear ESL in their messages outs them clear as day though.
