It doesn't have to be Christianity. As Tocqueville said: 'Despotism may govern without faith', and he's right.
Society absolutely needs a higher being, whether it be Caesar, King or God. If the commoner is allowed to believe that /he/ is the highest being in existence, and many other commoners follow this thought, society, as is being proven before our eyes, degenerates into self-serving beasts.

That is following Hegel: to examine history.
We have seen a history where religion is absolute.
We are in the middle of history where religion is rejected. Draw this to its natural conclusion and you will see the synthesis.
So it's not personal animosity, I don't hate atheists, I'm not even a Chirstian myself, however, it is Hegelian Dialectics that this experiment ends and it won't end with the absolute rejection of morality.
Ergo: the synthesis is a creation of a new enfrocement of morality which, in my extrapolation, is a Dictator, rather than faith.
I simply preach faith to hasten this change (because it can be any moral enforcer), so I might see further into the future of human society.
