Gib is only mandatory because he fixes bad positions and forces close range fights, also prevents easy third partying without zip/pad. His kit is just really good and allows him to be very flexible. Ideally a team doesn't need Gib if they traverse carefully(Crypto can help with this) or are capable of dealing with a fight fast enough that the threat of a third party is no longer a problem. Then again, why take that risk? Every team will just pad in to third party.

I feel that any change to the meta will be temporary without nerfing Gibraltar.

Gib kit is very flexible and the only holes are his cooldowns. You have

Gib is actually "fun" to play. Beni has had more success with Gib than using other characters. Big stats, strong ult and tactical saves her skin a lot of times because she's always out of cover and easily ambushed. Really would prefer if his ult and Bangalore's were switched.

She's sitting comfy at 1500 viewers which is her average for APEX give or take. It's not like Minecraft or other members not streaming automatically translates to getting a viewer boost, afterall, members stream APEX or Valorant with no overlap without much change in viewership numbers.
