I gave it a chance many times over several years and it always had horrendous glitches such as visual aberrations when decoding videos. I also don't like the way it works and think it is ugly. Mpc-hc never failed me, I like that it uses LAV filters and I still use this fork of it: https://github.com/clsid2/mpc-hc
