I first discovered Lily through clippers and I was immediately hooked. Every time she would stream, I would donate between 5 to 30 dollars through Twitch. One day I checked out her merch store, and I wanted every single one. First, I would buy the stickers then I moved on to plushies, Fumos, and a lot of other stuff. There were times I would spend thousands of dollars a month just on the merch alone. I was doing this for about 10 months until I had spent my life savings on all that stuff (about 50,000) and after that I felt hollow inside, like something was missing. So, I took my wife's card out of her purse and slowly spent the money in her account too (about 25,000) until that ran out eventually too. As the months went by, I got desperate, I couldn't go any longer without the stuff. Every day I would either watch VODS or clips on YouTube, I couldn't get enough. Something about the way she laughs draws me in like a bug to a light bulb. I couldn't handle it anymore. I applied for a credit card for both me and my wife and got a 5k limit credit card with 24% APR. So, I went back to the merch store and started buying more stuff for my fix. In total I spent around 85k on her merch. I maxed out my wife and I's credit cards and screwed over our children for the rest of their lives. I am currently being served divorce papers and there is a very big chance I will lose custody of my kids. I have so much of her stuff I couldn't fit it into the storage facility's biggest container. I can't pay my rent, and I am about to be evicted from my apartment. My credit is awful, and I will probably be homeless for the rest of my life. Don't feel bad Lily, it's not you, it's me.
