It's a similar situation to picrel, but instead is having no cake vs at least some cake. Requesters are freeloaders, we'll generally be fine with whatever you cook for practice and won't really feel like complaining.
That said, like >>77904057 and >>77905115 said, if any drawfags want feedback, even if it's from random laymen with minimal art knowledge, "just fucking ask" (TM). We could do something cringe like xwitter/tumblr and have /rf (requesting feedback) at the end of posts, or just explicitly asking for it, whatever you guys feel like it. Most anons don't criticise stuff because we don't know how to draw, what looks weird or why, what advice to give, and we don't want to discourage practicing drawfags by railing on their art.

Do it anyway. Remember the cake philosophy.

It's not that I prefer older or newer work: I just have a hard time perceiving this as a competition in the first place. Whichever songs and EPs I spend hours listening to, all those hours go to Mori, so it's a win for Mori. Pic highly related.

I don't get it, these are just streamers who sometimes collab with each other and not a movie series you have to watch in a specific order, with hours of continuity. I find it unlikely that someone got discouraged from watching a vtuber of a group because "there's too many to choose from".

Striving for greatness can be a good motivator to get better. And even if your stories aren't held up as part of "the greats," they're still making someone out there happy. Or sad. Or whatever it is you're trying to make them feel.
Plus, at the end of the day all we're really doing is writing fanfiction of virtual anime girls. The most important part is to have fun with it.
