If I had to take a shot in the dark I would say that her family is slightly below middle class in Japan (which would equate to middle class in the US anyway) for all the things she has talked about owning like consoles, games and computers when she was growing up so she didn't live a life of deprivation as far as I can tell.
and the reason why she didn't go to college is perhaps a personal decision as she has sometimes talked about how she wasn't very good at school and every day she wished classes would be over as fast as possible and that she also spent most of her time drawing in her notebooks.
She sometimes regrets this because has told boys in the chat that they should enjoy their youth in school because they don't know how hard it is to be an adult.
I think that Senchou's dream growing up was to be a mangaka or a recognized artist and when she tried and failed she fully focused on her imitating famous voices ability which curiously ended up working for her.
It's funny to think how Senchou achieved greater fame and fortune than she could have imagined if she had attended college and is surely wealthier than any of her high school classmates who went on to keep studying.
