Depends on your view of what vtubing is.

Vtubing as both japan and most of the board considers it (Idol based and part of a large corporation) Is something that I can see being a mainstay in japan for at least 6 more years, only an advancement in technology or radical laws being emplaced can really kill vtubing there at this point.

As for the west, its already started to wane its interest in this type of vtubing, expect it to end up as another small niche in the west-anime fanbase subgenre within the next year or 2

For vtubing as a whole (Just streaming with a 2D Live/VROID/VRCHAT model) That's here to stay, and I can only see MORE people becoming vtubers on twitch/youtube/ other streaming sites as the technology continues. It's takes away many of the cons of streaming IRL and lets you have something more fun than a simple dude streaming himself in the corner.
