If it was not for reaching these new milestones (generally translated with streaming times), we're currently in a time where now there's trust towards the oshi being built-up, ever since the first week of Civilization duties - so we're about 2 months in this particular characteristic. And it kept on building until we had the SCs reading yesterday.
That trust being built-up towards Mumei and the IRL implications is why there's some much few critics in here, since most of it is entirely understandable.

We were warned before but this is peak trust to have someone saying what was up, before and during a specific stream. About milestones: we're also in a phase now where keeping mention of the streaming times like we did since Sugar Rush is now meaningless since 4 hours seems the norm now, unless she beats her Pokemon stream that lasted 5hours+, until then it won't be much a point of discussion until an endurance stream.

Her coming back from her break and seeing what she announced definitely shows a taste of the things to come.

Well here's the thing: until we get a proper announcement for that would-be tournament, there's no reason to think there won't be any more Pokemon past tonight stream (since tonight is likely to be the main plot conclusion), plus there's always the perspective of these Zatsudan/shiny hunting streams that she was planning.
Now on the other hand, I get why people are sick of Pokemon to a certain extend.
