1. install git for windows if you don't have it already, make sure you "add to path" during installation, as well as Python 3.10. It has to be 3.10, 3.11 will not work. RUN THE PYTHON INSTALLER AS AN ADMINISTRATOR AND INSTALL IT FOR ALL USERS, ADD TO PATH. INSTALL PY LAUNCHER FOR ALL USERS TOO, ADD TO PATH. PYTHON IS A FUCKING WHORE ON NON-SERVER WINDOWS BECAUSE OF UAC AND LOCAL USER PROFILES. ahem.
2. "git clone https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui/"
3. download a model and a VAE from here: https://rentry.org/8nxtk
4. stick them in models/Stable-diffusion and models/VAE, respectively
5. run webui-user.bat
6. set Clip Skip to 2 and ENSD to 31337 in Stable Diffusion after it launches
