NTA but EN never really had much of a strong presence in "box" type games, or a strong "box" in general.
Ark, Minecraft, Rust etc. gave us a lot of fun times in JP over a period of 3 years, and it's only recently that the lack of any new "box games" plus the number of talents exceeding that threshold where ALL of them can play together, has caused a bit of a fracturing of the box.
The HLZTL project into ReGloss' weirdass launch as "holojp, but actually no" didn't help either.

But even in the times when such games WERE popular, none of the ENs really gave much of a shit about what actually made that whole thing popular.
Gura's Rust streams were fun, she went around, interacted with a bunch of holos, shot people for fun, and was the ONLY EN involved in the pivotal moment of the Rust arc - the Peko betrayal.
Gura in minecraft was also extremely fun, interacting with the JPs with her broken English and just being all around cute.
Other members also had some sparks of this, like the Kronii-Polka interactions, the Ina-Lamy-gen5 combinations, but they never really went beyond those 1 or two interactions.

Of course, it's not COMPLETELY their fault either, since EN3 and the homos caused a HUGE delay in a lot of that stuff (including 3D), but even the occasional streams that they DID come together, were disasters all around.
Their haphazard attempts at doing "ender dragon" and some of the other minecraft streams just felt like they were going off a checklist rather than something they wanted to do for entertainment.
And now Fauna - 2 years late - is doing the 2022 meta of building something fun on the EN server, but the slowness of the construction, as well as the lack of reactions from others (thanks to minecraft no longer being "meta") mean that it doesn't hit the same as it might have in 2021 or 22.
Same with Gura's Atlantis. It's still right there to be picked up, and will be pretty awesome if she ever gets around to finishing it, but every year that goes by, it just stops being something fans look forward to and instead just becomes a meme unto itself "haha Gura's never gonna finish Atlantis".
Similar to "Gura doesn't stream" being a "meme" in the EN community to try and make light of an actual issue because the community just abhors negativity but still wants to complain about stuff.

None of them REALLY ever got to know their genmates as much as the JPs attempted to, meaning they are still mostly at the "we're just coworkers" level of the relationship chart.
There's so little of the "sit down 1-on-1 and just have a chat getting to know each other" type streams that are so damn common in JP. Collabs are almost always just playing games together, which CAN be fun, but there has to be a bit of diversity in the content.
Individually there's groups that get along well, but as a collective whole, HoloEN just hasn't had that much of a strong "box" as JP throughout it's lifetime.
Advent and their chemistry with each other, as well as their varied interactions with the other holos, are just shining a lot more light onto this phenomenon. The Promise girls are at least trying to take up the mantle and are attempting to get to know each other better, but if you're a regular JP viewer, the difference in box strength is easily noticeable.

THAT SAID, HoloEN is still MILES beyond the absolute shitswamp that is the Twitch "EN" scene, so they have that going for them. JP fans just have higher standards, which isn't really anyone's fault.

If you enjoy the EN branch as they are, good for you.
Some of us just feel like they have so much more potential to become something much greater, beyond what they currently are.
