Nature anon here. This outing started off way more exciting then I expected. While heading to the river I spotted this Flayion. Flayions aren't very agressive but they love scaring folk who see them and assume they are like their non tempanimal cousins. This one attempted to scare me which failed as I know there has never been a case of a Flayion attacking a human. They are as I like to call it Bettelvores exclusively hunting Bettel variants.while the will eat other meat they will never hunt a non bettel variant or even bettel crosses only pure bred bettel variants are their natural prey. Interestingly they don't hunt the Bettel 2 versions of their prey only the standard Bettel variants. We believe this evolution has to do with an event that occurred 200 years ago where bettel variants had a sudden boom in reproduction to the point where even standard animals were having a hard time competing causing a few Flayon variants to evolve the Bettelvore trait in order to regulate the population of Bettel variants.
