Anycolor definitely has the ability to space out graduations to make things appear less cataclysmic, if they want to. It's easy for them to give a talent a choice between leaving a bit later on "good" terms and just getting let go immediately with no closure for their fans, and most livers will take that offer if it's not an unreasonable length of time. I obviously can't say if they did or are doing it, and it might seem antagonistic and mean-spirited, but I absolutely would not put it past Anycolor.
