Hello, cbdct. I remember posting about Yuurei here some months ago. He was that one indie vtuber who collabed with Shoto on a Summertime cover in early 2022. He was supposed to debut soon but kept getting delayed. I remember following and waiting for his debut because I really loved his voice and was curious about the kind of streamer he'd be and was very excited when he finally did so in August this year. His debut stream was great; it was clear he had put a lot of consideration and work into it: He did the illustrations and writing for his lore video as well the singing for the ED to said video and also worked on the BGM. Quality wise it was right on-par with any other major corpo debuts. His model was also really good, as indie models usually are, and incredibly cute. Anyways, he streamed for only 2 weeks before he suddenly went cold turkey on his channel and on all his socials. Not even a like or a reply on his twitter since 20th August. I frequented his page every few days for an update and just today I saw that his twitter bio says he retired for personal reasons with no other information. I also didn't see anyone else talking about it either. He just up and left in the most obscure and unceremonious of departures...Which is why I'm writing this here. I wasn't his biggest fan and only caught his streams when I could, but I felt a bit lonely "mourning" a vtuber's retirement so I thought I'd share a bit about him with you peeps. Anyways, he was a good boy and his model was adorable. I hope whatever he's doing now he's happy.
