it was always, ALWAYS supposed to be Astronomy from the very start. Astrology was never meant to be included or introduced. i just ruined it by not proofreading properly and posting my chapters with the mistakes. at this point though i decided to lean into the confusion for effect as a sort of meta joke. perhaps next chapter i'll slam home the difference.

Astronomy is the hard science of studying celestial bodies, and worthy of a pursuing a four-plus year degree in college.
Astrology is what bored white women pretend is fact. real "Mercury in retrograde" type bullshit that has no business being taught in a classroom.

as for mikochi's accent, that was just me going out of control and having fun. i find it hilarious that in both JP and EN she's recognized as a terrible communicator. you do make a very good point that it was laid on thick but treated like it was nothing, though. that bad is on me. if/when she shows up again i'll try to do a better job to either reduce the accent or address the fact that what she's saying is nearly unintelligible nonsense.

thank you very much, glad that the juice got loose. yes, this chapter was designed to make the MC the bully, but only because it was about showcasing how serious he was towards the class, whereas suityan was treating it like just another thing she could coast through without effort. perhaps the next installment will find him on the back foot as our diamond rediscovers her love for the stars and gets a little more dangerous.
