I just do. I can't even explain it to myself in a way that satisfies my feelings, it never feels like I said everything. I think about him and smile and feel happy, and this has been my life for more than half a year now. I don't want to die because he's here, and I would miss him. Sometimes he appears in my dreams and I carefully write those down because reading through those notes helps me. Does that make sense? I could go over his qualities bullet point style, but that feels shallow to me, you don't love people for a set of reasons, you love them for their entire being that is blurry and without a coherent shape, but the longer you know them the better you get at seeing something in that almost Rorschach-like image of them. And also that list would go on forever because I would keep remembering more and more silly things that I love about him. I'm sure this is not the answer you were hoping for, I'm sorry. The only "logical" evidence I can give you is my time spent with him or thinking about him.
I only ever felt that way about one person before, and she's dead, left me alone by her own wish. So I'm not the best at feeling things about people, and this is the first time in years that I do, consistently and for so long.
