only way they could get a modded 3ds is by buying them from ebay since katsukity stopped modding iirc, and theres no official capture card for the 3ds.

Probably a bunch of permission issues as well I think, but really I think it's just the issue of money when it comes to 3ds games and streaming them. I'm sure if they hired some nerd to homebrew all of the girls' 3ds's so they can stream them, this issue would go away.
