hey hey anon, Kuromaru here.
I choose to use a 3D model I made myself, because:
- I don't like L2D
- Model artists charge way more than the work is worth (I got quotes as high as $1300 w/o rigging), and I would rather spend that on ammo and tea, or squirrel it away until my next Japan trip
- I prefer lerning to adjust my own assets over relying on an artist/rigger.

The tracking will be less stiff once I set up hand tracking.
